Attention Boat Buyers!


On May 28, 2010, Florida Governor signed Florida Bill CS/SB – 1752 which is big news for anyone who wishes to buy a boat in Florida. Florida Bill CS/SB – 1752 is part of the recovery effort to boost jobs in the state of Florida and promote more commerce within the state. For boat owners, this bill places a cap on the Florida 6% sales tax on vessel purchases or the use tax on currently owned boats at $18,000.00. The law goes into effect on July 1, 2010.
